Graceful Gull

25 min watercolour pencil in Moleskine sketchbook

Seagulls are fascinating creatures - birds of the sea, they can still instantly fly miles inland to follow the tractor ploughing the fields.

It looks like little Ralfi is keeping you on your toes. Very nice portrait and sketch of him in action!

  3. Hi Theresa

Thank you for dropping by and for the encouragement. It is much appreciated. Lack of time to actually paint drove me to fitting in quick sketches wherever I can. It makes me feel closer to my art if I can snatch just 10 minutes and I know that it will help improve my work.

I am hopeful that this will mean when the day comes that I have more time to paint I will be better skilled to get my ideas on canvas.

  4. Hi Carol

Thank you for your kind words and for dropping by. I really love your painting of Shawna, it has such warmth - something I want to achieve when I paint Ralfi.

He certainly is a wonderful character and one day I hope to capture that.
